Sports Camp Volunteer 2026

MINISTRY SAFE and BACKGROUND CHECK
All volunteers 18 years of age and older are required to complete a mandatory background check and an awareness training to be allowed to volunteer. You will receive a separate email (within one week of submitting this volunteer form) with information on how to complete your background check and ministry safe. Both are completed online.

Note: Any 6th-7th grade volunteers MUST serve with a parent in either a team leader or coach position.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF EACH AREA

• Coaches are responsible for leading a sport and coming up with activities for kids.
• Team Leaders will lead team of 15-20 kids alongside 1-2 other leaders. Teams of kids are divided by grade level.
• Security Team is responsible for keeping everyone safe. MUST BE 18 OR OLDER.
• Connection Team  is responsible for greeting and welcoming children each night, assisting families in our check in and out process, delivering snack, providing assistance in other areas throughout the evening as needed, and helping parents navigate child pick up at the end of each evening.
• Floater/Sub will 'float' to a coach/team leader position where a spot needs to be filled or someone is out (ie: sick). This is also a great spot for those who want to volunteer, but are only available a couple of days out of the week. 
• Meal Team will assist with cooking, preparation, and serving of the meals for all of our volunteers. (Team arrives to Central earlier)
• Medical Team (A Closed Team)

All volunteers are required to attend ONE mandatory meeting. The meetings are at the following times: 

• Wednesday May 13 at 6:00 PM
• Sunday May 17 at 12:15 PM
• Wednesday May 20 at 6:00 PM
